The kitchen serves Swabian specialities, fresh salads and Bavarian delicacies, alongside changing daily specials deliberately paired with the house-brewed beers. Das Brauhaus sieht sehr Urig und gemütlich aus, obwohl es sehr Sitzplätze bietet Sitzt man nicht eingeengt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Bestellung ist sehr zügig serviert worden. Am Essen kann ich nicht viel Meckern, es war sehr lecker. Die Spätzle waren super Klar, das Bier ist auch sehr gut. Ich kann das Brauhaus sehr Empfehlen und wir hatten einen schönen Abend dort

Als Bierliebhaber wollte ich unbedingt eine Brauerei besuchen, die ihr Bier tatsächlich noch vor Ort braut, und Sophie’s Brauhaus hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Ich habe das Schwarzbier und das Helle probiert. Das Schwarzbier war eine angenehme Überraschung. Viele Schwarzbiere erinnern mich geschmacklich etwas zu sehr an Kaffee, was nicht unbedingt mein Favorit ist. Dieses hier war dagegen eher auf der süßeren Seite, schön ausgewogen und sehr süffig. Wirklich ein hervorragendes dunkles Bier. Auch das Helle hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Eigentlich würde ich es eher als Keller- bzw. Zwickelbier bezeichnen, da es naturtrüb und unfiltriert serviert wird. Wer ein klassisch gefiltertes Helles erwartet, sollte das wissen. Geschmacklich war es aber ausgezeichnet und hatte viel Charakter. Der Service war ebenfalls top. Der Barkeeper hat sofort bemerkt, dass ich da war, die Getränke kamen schnell, und auch das Bezahlen ging völlig unkompliziert und zügig. Zugegeben, es war gegen 16 Uhr und noch nicht die Hauptzeit, aber guter Service bleibt guter Service. Besonders gefallen hat mir die gemütliche Atmosphäre. Viel Holz, ein traditioneller Stil und insgesamt eine sehr einladende Umgebung. Sogar die Toiletten waren bemerkenswert sauber und gepflegt – heller und sauberer als in manchem Restaurant. Als kleines Souvenir habe ich noch ein Weizenglas gekauft. Für nur 4,50 € konnte ich wirklich nicht Nein sagen. Aus amerikanischer Sicht war das geradezu ein Schnäppchen. Für mich war das ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Gutes Bier, freundlicher Service, faire Preise und dazu die Besonderheit, dass hier tatsächlich noch in Stuttgart selbst gebraut wird. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Gutes Lokal mit einer tollen Auswahl an vielen leckeren Gerichten. Die Hähnchenbrust und die Maultaschen waren gut. Vorher konnte man sich Salat & Suppe vom Buffet nehmen, was auch schmeckte. Das Bananen-Weizen war ebenso gut. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es ist viel Platz zum Sitzen. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und passt preislich gut.

The Stäffele City-Appartements cater to anyone who finds a hotel too expensive in the long run and renting their own apartment too much hassle: project staff, newcomers to Stuttgart during their probationary period, seminar participants or business travelers on extended stays. The 25 fully furnished apartments for one to two people are located on a quiet side street in Stuttgart’s west, around a three-minute walk from the S-Bahn and just a few minutes from Königstraße.
